If you follow the videos, you already know Hare as our drummer. What you don't see is everything that happens before he sits down behind the kit.
1. He never travels without a thermos
Black tea, two sugars, a few drops of lemon. If there's nowhere to boil water, he will literally tell you he can't play.
2. His music player is from 2009
A Sansa Clip+ he modded to read anything off the card. On it: everything from Tool to Bregović to some high-school garage demos.
3. The drums move into his flat for winter
No, really. The whole kit. The neighbours hate us.
4. He once played barefoot
A rehearsal, not a show - but it was enough to be remembered forever. We have kept a "spare" pair of shoes in the van ever since.
5. He's always first to arrive and last to leave
By the time the rest of us show up, he's already warmed the kit and played 20 minutes of warm-ups. When we leave, he stays another half hour, experimenting with a shaft.
