Three days in the studio
Tracking "Egzekucioner" took three days that felt like three weeks. The producer told us it had to sound like someone sprinting through a garage, and - well, we think we got there.
Guitars
The main riff was tracked on a Gibson Les Paul in standard D tuning. Two passes, one hard left, one hard right, with a touch of extra drive for the kind of aggression that usually leaks between notes.
When Kemo first played the solo, the whole room stopped.
There is no other way to play this without your arm hurting a little.

Drums
Hare insisted on a minimal kit - kick, two toms, ride and hi-hat. No fancy samples, no triggers. Everything you hear is the room.

- Snare: Shure SM57 (top + bottom)
- Toms: Sennheiser e604
- Overheads: AKG C414 pair
- Room: an old Coles 4038 lent to us by a friend
Vocals
This is the part that took the longest. Tarik did eight takes, right up until he said "one more and I quit", and that was the one we kept.
